How Core Restoration Started (And Why It Matters to You)
Core Restoration wasn’t born in a boardroom, it was born at 1 AM on a Friday night.
Our founder was working for a national franchise in 2017, responding to a basement flood in Backcountry. The homeowner was terrified, sewage was backing up into her finished basement while her kids slept upstairs. Corporate dispatch said to “log the call and schedule for Monday morning.”
He went anyway. Showed up at 1 AM with equipment from his own garage, extracted the sewage water, contained the mess, and had the basement drying by sunrise. The homeowner cried with relief. The franchise fired him on Monday for “unauthorized overtime.”
That’s when Core Restoration was born.
The principle: When someone in Highlands Ranch has an emergency, you help them immediately, not when it’s convenient for corporate policy.

2021 — Added a third truck. Invested in content restoration equipment. Expanded service area to Littleton, Lone Tree, Centennial, and Castle Rock.

What We Believe
Local Matters National franchises answer to corporate offices in other states. We answer to our Highlands Ranch neighbors. When you see us at King Soopers or your kid’s soccer game, we want you to be happy with our work.
Honesty Over Sales If you don’t need professional restoration, we’ll tell you — even if it costs us the job. We’d rather earn your trust for when you DO need us.
Expertise Matters IICRC certification isn’t just letters after our names. It’s hundreds of hours of training in water damage science, mold biology, structural drying, and odor control. It means we know the difference between doing it and doing it right.
Emergencies Can’t Wait When your basement floods at midnight, “call back Monday” isn’t acceptable. We’re available 24/7 because disasters don’t happen during business hours.

Highlands Ranch

Core Restoration was great to work with and prices were extremely reasonable! We encountered a substantial water leak in our kitchen and reached out to Jeff, who promptly arrived to evaluate the situation and initiate the water restoration process. Demo in our kitchen was required and completed in a timely manner. All damaged areas were fixed, and no mess was left behind. Additionally, our basement ceiling suffered water stain marks as a result of the leak and required the drying and repainting of the entire ceiling. Once again, Jeff completed the task promptly, leaving no mess and achieving clean, sharp paint lines. Overall, I highly recommend Jeff and Core Restoration for their exceptional service!
